Ultrasonic Cleaning Components
Customize, renew or maintain the performance of your ultrasonic cleaning system.
The three essential components of an ultrasonic cleaning system are an ultrasonic generator to produce a high-frequency electrical signal, a transducerized tank with transducers bound under the tank and an immersible transducer bound by stainless steel, which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Branson offers a range of high-quality ultrasonic components for the system you need. Branson also offers support components such as hot air dryers, aquafiers, and oil coalescers to complete your system.
Branson generators provide the power and sweep control required for ultrasonic cleaning, with a wide range of frequencies to meet your cleaning needs. The S8000 series offers frequencies from as low as 25kHz–40kHz for larger-particle items like automotive parts or aerospace engines, to 80kHz–170kHz for smaller, more delicate items with more complex surfaces. Branson’s new N9000 series mega acoustic generator offers up to 1MHz frequency for your most precise cleaning needs, especially semiconductor wafer cleaning applications.
Immersible transducers are the heart of any ultrasonic cleaning system. Branson immersible transducers can be placed wherever you need them, whether you’re designing a specialized cleaning setup or upgrading soak tanks with ultrasonics. Immersible transducers are available in standard and custom sizes, and are offered in various configurations to allow optimum ultrasonic energy transmission. Chrome plating is available to reduce cavitation erosion.
Ultrasonic tanks are the cornerstone of any ultrasonic system. Branson makes standard stainless steel ultrasonic tanks ranging from 2.5 gallons to 50 gallons, and custom tanks in nearly any size. Standard features include bottom-mounted positive drain connection and fully shielded internal components. Options include a stainless steel basket for parts handling, a stainless steel tank cover and filter/recirculation packages.
