Rosemount™ 403VP Conductivity Sensor
Product Description
The Rosemount 403VP Conductivity Sensor is a sanitary flange sensor commonly used in water purification systems within the food and beverage industry. This conductivity sensor is ideal for measuring electrolytic conductivity in water-for-injection (WFI).
Specifications
- Temperature Range
- 32 - 221 °F (0 - 105 °C). Conductivity sensor is steam sterilizable to 275 °F (135 °C)
- Process Wetted Materials

Electrodes: Titanium
Insulator: PCTFE (neoflon), compliant to 21CFR 177.1380 and USP Class VI
Body: 318 sst
O-Ring: EPDM, compliant to 21CFR 177.1380 and USP Class VI
- Surface Finish
- All wetted surfaces have 16 micro inch (0.4 micrometer) Ra finish
- Max Operating Pressure
- 250 psig (1825 kPa [abs])
Features
- Sanitary design meets USP Class VI requirements
- Selectable cell constants of 0.01, 0.1, and 1.0/cm
- Available with 1½-in. and 2-in. sanitary flange process connections
- Variopol (VP6) cable connection option, for quick cable-to sensor release, eliminates cable twisting
