About Rosemount 3051 Pressure Transmitter Family
Have confidence in your pressure, level and flow measurements with this reliable, industry-proven platform.
An upgraded design brings some of our latest technologies to maintain and troubleshoot tasks faster than ever. Powerful features like graphical back-lit displays, Bluetooth® connectivity, easier to navigate user interfaces, level and flow specific configurations and diagnostic features allow you to perform commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks faster than ever.
Maintain and monitor the health of your pressure transmitter wiring and power supply with Power Advisory Diagnostics. This option continuously monitors the electrical loop to detect changes that can compromise the integrity of the output signal. To protect the precision of each measurement, this feature also identifies changes that could compromise accuracy and it helps detect hidden issues that could potentially cause on-scale failures.
Developed according to Human Centered Design principles, the Local Operator Interface (LOI) has built-in configuration buttons for streamlined commissioning. Its straightforward menus include 2-button “scroll and select” navigation and easy, intuitive operation. With the LOI, pressure transmitters can commissioned in less than a minute, simplifying maintenance and reducing costs.
With wireless technology, you can add new pressure, flow and level measurement points easily and cost-effectively in many areas of the plant including those that were previously inaccessible. Gaining additional information allows you to better optimize your process and reduce personnel exposure to hazardous environments. Wireless technology enables you to monitor more assets throughout your operation and preserves valuable I/O space by integrating multiple measurements.
Instrumentation designed specifically for hygienic applications assures compliance with industry standards and regulations. This hygienic pressure transmitter, available with aluminum or polished stainless steel housing, offers batch-to-batch repeatability and industry-leading stability. Rated up to IP689K, the robust design withstands clean-in-place and sterilize-in-place process and quickly returns to the calibrated setpoint for reduced time between batches.
Loop Integrity Diagnostic Continuously monitor electrical loops to detect issues that affect the communication signal. Get alerts to:
Water in the housing
Shorted Wiring
Corroded Connections
Control System Failure
Plugged Impulse Line Diagnostic Impulse piping can plug from material buildup or freezing, which isolates the transmitter from the process and therefore is unable to respond to process changes. The Rosemount 3051 continuously monitors for plugged impulse lines and alerts you to abnormal conditions.
Diagnostic Log The built-in diagnostic log tracks events, so you see a history of the device status to diagnose intermittent issues that may occur when not connected to the device
Reveal hidden electrical loop issues that may show incorrect measurements in the control room that could lead to safety and quality compromising decisions. The 3051 performs a continuous loop check, so you know device status at all times.
