Not only does the Rosemount Quad Vortex provide the same non-clogging design of the standard 8800 flow meters, the quadruple sensor and transmitter construction also provides an elegant, redundant flow measurement solution. The unique non-clog, leak-free Vortex flow meter design eliminates the need for bypass lines and is ideal in applications where fugitive emissions are a concern. The Critical Process valve provides an extra level of safety assurance by allowing users to verify secondary containment integrity.

Certified Safety Measurement

The Rosemount Quad Vortex Flow Meter is an all-in-one, redundant flow measuring solution certified to IEC 61508. It's capable of up to SIL 3 certification in redundant configuration. This provides for a process transmitter plus 2oo3 voting in the same meter.
