Spot Welders
Branson metal spot welding systems are fully customizable for applications from lithium ion batteries to wire terminals and more.
Branson’s metal spot welding systems are designed to handle a range of nonferrous metal welding applications, including precise welding of smaller-gauge metals. They can accommodate delicate assemblies for small smartphone batteries and the challenges of large automotive batteries and terminals. All of our spot welding systems include full automation capabilities to maximize throughput.
Branson’s MWX-100 offer unsurpassed capabilities for smaller applications like smartphone batteries. It’s the most versatile system available, delivering flexibility, efficiency and productivity. With a choice of actuator configurations, quick-change modular tooling and multi-frequency operation, the system can perform the work of 18 different welders. Conveniently located flow controls allow fast, easy adjustments, while titanium or steel horns minimize tooling costs.
Branson’s Ultraweld L20 is an extremely durable, easy-to-use 20 kHz spot welding system. Precision construction and easy tooling ensure reliability and weld accuracy for a wide range of welding applications, including large automotive batteries and wire terminals. The dovetail mounting allows fast fixture changes, while titanium or steel horns minimize tooling costs. Our vortex cooling option facilitates high-speed operation without heat buildup to enhance performance.
Branson’s GMX-20MA ultrasonic spot welder ensures high precision, repeatability and efficiency for bonding of nonferrous battery foils and tabs, wire terminations, and connectors. Dual linear bearings ensure a smooth, precise welding process. Upgraded control & power supply provides multiple real time welding data quality monitoring.
Branson’s GMX-20DP ultrasonic spot welder, with its unique mechanical design, allows for a wide range of complex applications such as EV battery cells, bus bars, battery packs, etc. while delivering high levels of precision and process control. Its pressure applying mechanism enables more efficient ultrasonic energy transmission, and lower vibration amplitude results in low heat and particulate, thus better protecting parts through welding process.
