Emerson continues its commitment to openness by delivering a PC-based FDI host that supports industry standard protocols – HART (via HART Modem), Foundation Fieldbus (via mobiLink Power), and MODBUS. AMS Device Configurator provides a simple device integration solution for the process industry. It allows users to easily perform basic device configuration tasks on their favorite Emerson field instrument or valve.
The AMS Device Configurator mobile app is now available to connect, configure and troubleshoot Emerson’s field instrumentation with Bluetooth® technology.
