AUSTIN, Texas (July 30, 2024) – With the latest release of Emerson’s DeltaV™ Virtual Studio, control personnel can quickly deploy virtualized infrastructure solutions for small systems that improve performance while also future-proofing operations.
Manufacturers face the complexities of maintaining their workstations and managing upgrades throughout their lifecycles. For smaller systems, this can be cost- and time-prohibitive and increases the risk of a possible disruption to operations.
Recognizing these challenges, Emerson designed the latest version of its Virtual Studio software for cost-effective, easy setup and maintenance of virtual DeltaV implementations for small systems. Virtual operator workstations and application servers can be created using templates without software installation and added to the control network without complicated virtual network mapping.
