Maintenance for PVRV’s can vary depending on the application these units are installed in. A good rule of thumb is to begin with an inspection of the PVRV 6 months after it has first been installed, if the unit is in need of repair the maintenance interval should be shortened, or if the unit is still in working condition the interval can be extended. Maintenance guidance can be found in the IOM for the PVRV and will vary based on brand and type, but points of focus across all units should be around the pallet seals on the pressure and/or vacuum side of the PVRV to ensure these are in good condition and working properly.
For a quick reference, weight-loaded PVRV’s offer pressure and vacuum settings up to 2 psi. For applications that require settings above 2 psi, we can offer spring-loaded PVRVs' that offer settings up to 15 psi.
