Core Emerson classes targeting employees with up to five years of experience allow your personnel to practice and hone their skillsets. They’ll learn to manage your applications in our facility, under the direction of experienced Em​erson certified instructors. Our Interactive Plant Environment provides experiential learning, instilling higher levels of competence and confidence that can’t be matched through more traditional classroom training methods.

Our process environment accurately depicts challenging workplace conditions and applications. Not only does it provide the opportunity to work across the spectrum of process measurement products, it replicates situations your personnel will encounter on the job—down to the details. Throughout each course, your personnel will wear industry-standard safety equipment. They will learn proper equipment management, and perform adjustments in tight plant situations. Safety protocols are inherently part of the training.

Your employees will engage in a unique learning experience that goes far beyond the basic principles of Rosemount product operation. Action-oriented learning focuses on contextual problem solving, and the proper processes and protocols for situations ranging from everyday maintenance to emergency shutdowns. Training courses may be customized to the needs of your facility, your industry, and the level of your staff. For example, your measurement “trouble points” can be recreated within our Interactive Plant Environment.

Practice is the best way to improve skills, and you’ll find it is far better for your personnel to practice here than in your own facility. Emerson’s simulated process is filled with safe, cool distilled water and non-toxic oil. And our instructors oversee everything to ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. In this hazard-free training environment, your personnel will have the opportunity to experience and understand the consequences of their errors, and to learn from their mistakes.

Your personnel will learn and practice under the guidance of senior Emerson certified instructors who have years of extensive field experience. Our instructors have been educated through rigorous technology coursework and certification processes. And they are fully trained and certified on Rosemount products and adult learning techniques.

The Interactive Plant Environment is located in the Emerson Service Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Emeron facility in Shakopee, Minnesota. These strategic locations serve customers using Rosemount products in multiple regions of the United States.
